Our Story
More than twelve years ago, musicians crossed paths at the Rijksmuseum, played side by side, and discovered a shared devotion to sound. One became a builder, two became teachers, and their friendship grew into Mokum Instruments, carried forward with the support of Handpan Studio Amsterdam.
Custom Requests?
Can’t find your dream instrument? No worries! The team at Mokum Instruments is happy to explore the possibilities with you to create a custom instrument. We tune instruments with a ding from A2 to G3, and bottom notes do not go lower than B2. The pricing is straightforward, nine notes for €2100, and every additional note is €150.
